Well...I thought I knew everything there is to know about frontera A's pretty much, have had more than most people and broken probably hundreds over the years,
But today I was surprised....
I have always ended up throwing around the rear headrests in my fronty lwbs when I had the seats down, wherever I put them they were in the way...
...and then today when pulling a LWB apart, I come across one that had them stowed,
in their special place in the drivers side rear seat base!!!!
I never knew this...so feel stupid but at the same time like I have learnt something....
I knew the jack stowed their but not that there was provision for the rear headrests too for when you have the seats down!!!
So no more headrests rattling round the footwells, or wedged in the back such that they fall out whenever a rear door is opened!

Yes mate , there is a cut out under the rear seats for them. Off the top of my head I think it's on the near side

What a great find greg, they always have been a pain to store. Ive taken the headliner out and have bungies strung across roof behind the sunroof to form a net and keep a few things up there and I also stow the headrests up there, but this is a much better place. I regularly take both rear seats out to get bigger loads in so keep the jack in the locker I made over the wheel arch.
