The Antara

Postby Riz on Wed Nov 24, 2010 8:50 pm

Evening folks

Was at the local Vauxi dealer today and it was the first time i looked at an Antara up close. Nice interior red leather etc but not so keen on the shape does anyone own one or have an opinion as was looking at one for the misses. It also does not look very 4x4 butch for like a people carrier

Would have been nice if they kept the boxy Fronti shape with the interior of the Antara .

Well I have the full press pack here and DVD, its very very technology based, I would hate anything to go wrong with it £££££££££.

It looks a great road car but as I say full of expensive ride control sensors and monitors.

I'll just stay with the simple stuff; thanks all the same.
Edit: Just checked and the French adverts say "Explore the limits of the Town."
I've already seen the speed signs, the radars and the traffic lights....so what's left to explore unless you demolish it and then drive over what's left?
If you need something done quickly just ask a busy woman then get the f"k out of her way.

In my opinion the Antara is just a Nissan. but with a different badge..They won't do what the Frontera is capable of doing so how or why VX stated them to be the Frontera's replacement is beyond me..Very much a posh mobile hairdressers motor..Bit of an insult to us Fronty owners who get much more fun out of our proper 4x4's :)

do what i did, walk in and have a look underneath, measure the ride height, then measure the with of the wheel arch, then take your phone and pretend to talk to some one about mud tyres and suspension lift, then start asking questions about low down talk, and the big question, whats it like of road, and just look at the poor guys face

Hmmmmm.......

Just think in 15 years this site could be the Frontera and Antara group, which unfortunately would make us all FAGS instead of Foggers :?

N'ah thats not Dwifty's morning plan...

its...

1.Wake up
2.Gaze around and try and establish which room he fell asleep in
3.Move painfully into sitting position
4.Pick up empty stella bottles that have now fallen on the floor
5.Switch on Tv and catch the last few minutes of Jeremy Kyle
6.Clean teeth and get in shower
7.Get out of shower and remove wet clothes
8.Get back in shower again
9.Recite Tom Jones "its not unusual" with lovely "plate reverb effect" afforded by the tiles in bathroom
10.Shave, and shave head
11.Wash bits...several times...and then again "just to be sure"
12.Get out of shower
13.Pose in mirror for 30 seconds
14.Breath again
15.wander downstairs
16.Turn on pc
17.Ban Boxcleva
18.Get dressed

Thats more like it I reckon...I would be more worried, Boxcleva, that he thinks about you when he's naked more that getting banned!

I take it you havn't got any posh hairdressers up your way then bigdazz seeing as you aint spotted any yet...Yep the Antara took over from where the Suzuki Vitara left off ...Most of the Hairdressers i knew drove Vitara's and now it seems they went a bit more up market in there wide/squaty & shiney new antara's...No offence to all you girly hairdressers but you don't arf look daft trying to avoid those hedges whilst txting
