Please refrain from religious comments

It amazes me at the relatively short take off run it has for such a large craft, shows those engines kicking power, my daughter slept through the Vulcan low level fly past last year

I've seen jets take off from RAF linton on ouse.when they take off and climb vertical, though i've never seen a craft as large as that take off and climb, and the sound..fantastic.

Not only does it cost us a few bob to keep our Fronty's on the road, it costs a hefty amount to keep the Vulcan airworthy.

Just here for The Vulcans Running Costs Image

I hope they succeed for 2010 Image

BREAKING NEWS !!

it looks like the Vulcan is going to be around for a bit longer, and they are going to be able to keep it in the air for a while longer :D

So it should mean that this is not going to happen to it just yet ...

Image

The Vulcan team have managed to secure funding for their project :o - Some anonymous person has donated £458,000!!!!! WOW - 8) 8)

It means that it is able to display at some of the airshows this year, if you haven't seen it yet its worth a look  - see it while you can  [ I know you have - eh Drift  ]

Hi there Houndog

yeah I was lucky enough to see it there 2 years ago, hope I get to see it again this year

By chance I managed to take this picture when there was no other aircraft around. It made me realize how bumpy the Farnborough runway is

If you are bored with the usual Haynes Workshop Manuals or like me you are unable to obtain one for your particular Fronty :x :x

Then maybe it's time to move on to a different type of Workshop Manual one like this

http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stor ... &langId=-1  :D
