Re: A Vulcan Bomber TributeWhat an aircraft just the noise alone would make the Taliban crap them selves
Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tribute
cripes if you were the taliban and you heard that,it would probably too late,it'd have already dropped it's pay load. nice sound though.
Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tributea pay load of bibles would work better than explosives
Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tribute
yeah,it'd keep them warm during the winter months, using them as fuel for their campfires.
Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tributethat's a point they might not be able to reed English

It amazes me at the relatively short take off run it has for such a large craft, shows those engines kicking power, my daughter slept through the Vulcan low level fly past last year Ste

Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tribute
My appologies drift. It amazes me at the relatively short take off run it has for such a large craft, shows those engines kicking power, my daughter slept through the Vulcan low level fly past last year [/quote] I've seen jets take off from RAF linton on ouse.when they take off and climb vertical, though i've never seen a craft as large as that take off and climb, and the sound..fantastic.

Re: A Vulcan Bomber TributeNot only does it cost us a few bob to keep our Fronty's on the road, it costs a hefty amount to keep the Vulcan airworthy.

Re: A Vulcan Bomber TributeBREAKING NEWS !!
it looks like the Vulcan is going to be around for a bit longer, and they are going to be able to keep it in the air for a while longer So it should mean that this is not going to happen to it just yet ... The Vulcan team have managed to secure funding for their project - Some anonymous person has donated £458,000!!!!! WOW - It means that it is able to display at some of the airshows this year, if you haven't seen it yet its worth a look - see it while you can [ I know you have - eh Drift ] My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?

Re: A Vulcan Bomber Tribute
Hi there Houndog yeah I was lucky enough to see it there 2 years ago, hope I get to see it again this year By chance I managed to take this picture when there was no other aircraft around. It made me realize how bumpy the Farnborough runway is Regards My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?

Re: A Vulcan Bomber TributeIf you are bored with the usual Haynes Workshop Manuals or like me you are unable to obtain one for your particular Fronty
Then maybe it's time to move on to a different type of Workshop Manual one like this http://www.haynes.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stor ... &langId=-1 My Fronty thinks its a grown-up Tonka Toy [how sad is that] ?
