Not on mine .. the girlfriends Ford Explorer. Been having issues with the ABS kicking in at the last few feet when stopping, even though the wheels aren't slipping. Must be sensors or exciter ring. Went on Eblag and got a pair of front sensors for £8 delivered direct from Hong Kong. Fitted them both last night and all works a treat. Love simple cheap fixes.

Good news there Andy as for the sticky out wheels, some places note them others ignore them and the good places get the tape measure out and find they are okay!
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Comments on 'O-no' the truck may be left here

Took it for its annual check up, I even took.it to Vauxhall while they had a ministry visit so wasn't expecting much, however...PASSED,and by the ministry aswell.

Needless to say I'm well chuffed and the advisories are clean up and spray rear brake pipes and double check front wheel bearings as they 'couldn't spin the wheel fast enough to thoroughly check' also front drop link rubbers are starting to deteriorate.

I'm gonna treat it to a new clutch drop links brake pipes and track rod ends the weekend just as a well done.
If it ain't broke, fix it before it does!! You know it will!!

After doing the lift on mine yesterday,i decided to do starter motor, thats is a right p.i.t.a to do,finally when i got it together,it turned over great, but wouldnt fire, double checked everything while ignition was on ,moved some wires and things started to work, turned key and fired up,took it for test drive ran like pooh on lpg,so stripped loom back, found out it was 2 earths not tight at rear of block, some idiot hadnt tightened them at some point, now runs great,i will not be doing that again in a hurry....

Made a start on swapping the bad bits on the 2.5 for good bits off the 2.8 (namely the wing mirrors and 120% brighter bulbs) and added a aerial adapter to the head unit so I had radio. Tomorrow I'll be doing the last drive on the road for the 2.8 as it's getting sorn'd and eventually trailered
