Quick wet flat of the front wings and top coat is going on, not looking too fab at the mo as I'm using spray cans but its better than a 2 tone shorty and no doubt will soon get them nice n scratched

Truck:

Fixed this

Not the smartest of patches, but hey it works....

Just needs some paint now.
This posting may have been helpfull, on the other hand probably not... Either way, I may have had drink when posting it in which case it's probably not as helpfull as it could have been

Work safe, and remember all technical problems can be resolved with a hammer, the trick is knowing where to hit it and how big a hammer to use (I often find it may also help to have a spare bit in the shed to replace the bit you have just mullered ;) )

Work in Progress (or not as the case may be) I give you.... 'O-no' the truck.

Truck

Also, moved the winch bumper project on a bit. Now done the little bits of bumper leading to the wheel arch trim and welded in some plate to try and protect the body section below the headlight mounting that seemed a bit 'exposed'

Side bumper

Protective plate

Nearly finished, just a top bracing bar/spotlight mounting bar to make and fit and drill out the shackle mounts to 20mm

It often works better to apply a drop coat to silver base coat....base up with normal overlap and volume, then apply a final drop coat from 2-3 times the distance from the panel, more of a dusting than a heavy full coat.
