body lift doneI will try and get some snaps later and do a better write up, but its done
1.5" Higher all round. It has been a pain and a learning curve but a good mechanical type will do it in a morning. If your cars seen as much mud as mine you will need a grinder to remove the nuts on the old body mounts, also a good big flat screw driver to use with a good old lump hammer. The trouble is that the steel tubes that sit within the rubber mounts create foul conditions, either a bent bolt siezed within or the whole angle of the mount seizes the tube inside the rubber. Thus once the nut is off the mount stays firm and you need to drift the bolt remanants out before you can start removing the tube from the rubber. As mines seen some action (also a previous owner seems to have had a front end) All the mounts were off in different directions. Once all bolts were cut I then had to get the body up, tried a million ways and the easiest was a bottle jack on a spare up against the reinforcing strip under the body on eaach side just sort of the rear of the door (SWB) I was able to lift each side from that one point high enough to get all spacers in and without deflecting the sill (I did have a steel strip spreading the load) Putting the pucks in and tightening were surprisingly simple, almost too simple and the body mounts are now a lot straighter. I will have a good look around in the morning after its sat a while and check bolts are still tight, and that nothing is broken and gone unoticed. Brake lines and gbox levers and steering column all look fine, will need to address the bumpers when I find time. Time well spent, hope to play soon. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"

Well done Alex
not a bad job to do is it ????.... i found my hi-lift most usefull indeed for lifting the body away from chassis now then ....where are those pics
Pics are Sunday
Sorry to get everyone exited. Cost was about £80 for the 1.5" lift, am making some mods for it already though. There are a few places where the body touches the chassis with rubber stops, I'm making some packers to bring these back into contact. As for super duper trucks..... E-Bay kitHi Alex
Found this on E-Bay is it simular to the one you used, as i would like to lift my fronty Ebay clicky Cheers Shaun
Same guy i got mine off so yes they will.
Something I didnt notice, the rad goes with the body, so anyone thats got a visco with a rad shroud will need to mod. Ive got a fair amount of brake pipe flex still left at extreme articulation too. Fronty no.4, pimp mobile Treg 3.2 LWB lifted 2.5"
