ive put my 2.4 lwb through a carwash oh
but i only did it because it had chassis jets underneath to clean it of they were not to happy with the lumpsof mud that came off best thing is to ask before you go through
Have taken my Long wheel base thru many a car wash, only once did the wheel on the back cause a problem, the brush hit it and the machine stopped immediately. I went in and complained and they apologised and gave me a refund. some car washes have notices saying they are not suitable for certain types of car. so it is probably best to ask first.
Just remembered, dont forget to fold your aerial down and pull the wing mirrors in!
I took mine through a car wash for the first time (I normally avoid them) a couple of weeks ago and it promptly stopped when it got to the back wheel. The lady havd to come out and turn it back on.
Very annoying especially when there is a massive queue behind LOL S 1997(P) 2.0 Sport S SWB - Running great but dented in a freak trailer incident

Yeh, but with bloomin' good reason, I think... I'm gonna take my spare off at the weekend, seal the mounting holes up, and run it through a wash. Only because cleaning all the gunk out from there where my car lives under a tree is a pain in the backside. Might even leave the spare in the boot if I like the look, too.. Jim...
