Nice to hear ALL the old favourites get dragged out again when someone mentions Land Rover...as i said I am well aware of all the problems - but if people take enough time to read some of the pots in the general area on here then they would realise that even fronteras are not without their problems - BUT people still love them and would spend cash to get them back on the road rather than see them scrapped...I recall in 1 day there were something like 5 posts about Problems -and then theres the recent post of 'I HATE VAUXHALL' no doubt a few more I missed.
OK so the Disco isnt a world beating dsign - but the ammount that Land Rover sold much prove they are doing something right, and its one of the few 7 seater diesels that can go 99% of the places that a fully kitted 'off roader' can - without major alterations from standard.
I like Land Rovers..pure and simple, I am aware they are not perfect ( no car is) but it fulfils my needs, and is cheap enough to fix when and if it goes wrong..

and to prove I am definately NOT snobbish when it comes to cars

You could find somewhere else to keep said *toy*,
I know of a farmer you way that has a big barn that is used for storing caravans in for people .
said if i ever wanted to keep my ( when i had one ) or wifes autograss cars there i could - just a bit far from Hereford to go to work on them
