banter general discussions etc

Postby Huwwalford on Tue Jan 08, 2008 12:09 am

"Huwwalford" Main mistake is your better off with a B

Sorry Ste,

What I should have added was, unless you are technically minded with regards to Fronty's, B is your best option.

Just me being a simpleton

Huw.

OMG....I must be tired even my quotes have gone astray....

Nighty Night

Again, Thanks for your advice gents.

I will start scouring the net / dealers and see what i can get.

Im not that worried about the 2.8 sounding like a tractor, i now live in Devon and might fit in with the locals :D

And as to that greeny colour, thats ok, My current swb is Aqua green.

I will let you know what i get and keep you upto date on the repairs / upgrades on my current swb....Particularly as my 18yr son wants the swb...He is now hooked on them as well :)

He sometimes logs onto my account..But you know what its like at that age...He has the memory retention of a goldfish if it doesnt involve, Playing football, Girls or Beer and not necessarily in that order :D

Im definatley looking for a LWB and Diesel, im not a great fan of petrol and apart from that they tend to choke easier in the deeper water :)

Its a 1998, 2.5tds Transglobe with aircon.

Mileage is little concern at 120k...should this worry me too much. I had a Diesel Vectra in the past that had 180k and drove like new

It has FSH, 12 months MOT

They are asking £1995

I havent been to tyre kick it yet but the pictures shows it in superb condition body wise

Give the 2.5 a good long test drive, let it tick over to full temp, and if there engine light comes on walk away.

The 2.5 is a very techi engine involving alot of electrics, so it could mean numerous problems that you would need to get read with a code reader.

Some faults could be simple to fix others hard to fix.

Just aint worth the grief lol
