in my opinion and just my opinion, you are going to fast and which my be looked upon that you have no respect for the geen lanes, im in no way sugesting you have no respect for the green lanes, but off roading is not about speed, its about fun and skill,
saying that it looks like you had fun, [that sounds so contradicting]
and you need a new camera, or a faster one

think you need a faster video camera...it was having great difficulty in keeping up .....

why not go on a play day where you can get really good practice at offroading ...

Thanks for the comment and i appreciate what you are saying when i look back at the video i will admit in some parts i do seem heavy on the foot but others going gently along. I openly admit i am new to this my only previous off roading experience was on a mk3 fiesta 1.8deisal whitch i spent more time underneath digging out of mud than anything else but i still loved every minute of it.

Everyday i go out is a learning curve for me iv gone from driving small fast modified hatchbacks to this and i think sometimes i lean to (Jeremy Clarkson quote] POWWWAHH to much. I also think alot of it is im so used to getting stuck that i keep thinking its still going to happen all the time and forget what im driving. I do have alot of respect for the green lanes and others who use them and all that's around. Oh and the camera is actualy quite nice for some reason the encoding messed up quite badly . il be removing that vid and re uploading with better encoding

around about walking pace is about right - unless the tracks are bone dry - or paved.. only gives the Anti's more ammo

Just a thought...

But how are you mounting that camera?

Please, please do not tell me your holding it in your hand!!!

Cos if you are, that's the same as a mobile phone basically, or WORSE you could get done for "Driving without due car and attention"!
And YES this DOES apply on ByWays as the same as on an open road!

If you can't mount it securely in the car then get a passenger to hold it. You can not safely 4wd on muddy ground with only one operating the car. A wheel rut could pull you straight in to the fence or worse mate.

Read the GLASS codes of conduct (links all over the forum for that) it shows you bits about speeds on the lanes and is a good learning point to start from..

Cheers,

Si
