Well maybe not the whole thing just the bloomin designer of the front drop link for the anti roll bar

They go and put an allen key in the end of the bolt and expect you to be able to undo it years later.
Having expected to have some fun I spent half hour cleaning the threads up on the nut and soaking in wd40, 14mm ring on the nut and allen key in a ratchet.

Guess what? yep, rounded the inside of the bolt, both of em.

gonna have to hack the drop link apart now to get at the shaft from the rear  gonna be a pain all round thanks vx.

Rant over....

ps sorted wobbly steering column, after some surgery found a stud with nut missing underside of column in front of adjustment mechanism. back in and sorted.

Sounds like the fun I will have removing the belly plate from my A seres :!:

Securly bolted with star trive allan key bolts :?

Some have been rounded off by previouse owner

Looks like it may be hammer and chisel time :(

Think i will repace them with normal bolts :!:

hhmm, tight in there for mollies I think, had a 2ft extension on the 14mm ring to get a turn. Someone saw tightening as a challenge me thinks.

Tiddles 'ol mate, those are torx bolts and an allan key wont fit correctly. As said, you can try mole grips. I grinded mine off, drilled out the studs and retapped the holes for M8 bolts. The old torx bolts are fine thread and are a devil to find.

Mole grips all the way with regards to the belly plates. Got lucky with an old Celica recently when I had to replace the rear drop link arms. Same as Frontera, allen key jobby, 17 years later and all it took was some WD40 and a small bit of patience.
