LOL..........

The reason I ask is my drivers side mirror, the heated part at the back has failed and its been soldered about 3 times and the last time I tryed no joy so it's time for a replacment and I bet VX is going to charge me a load of folding green.....

If you press the button you should feel heat within about 2mins if not then its either the fuse or crap connection on the back of the mirror they do fail over time...

Hi Wneiljohnson47

you can take the mirror glass out need to move the mirror to either full left or right the get a finger behind the glass and pull gently then you will find 2 wires at the back switch needs to have a good electrical contact but they do corrode over time.... Be careful with the soldering iron they get hot

Still not sure if all mirrors on the A series were heated..
