burning problems

hi all , im running windows vista and recently experienced problems when burning music files to a disc. what happens is for example, if there is ten tracks the first five burn no problem but the remaining tracks have an error occured at the side of them. ive tried using different discs and ive tried using a different program than windows media player. any help would be much appreciated.

Sounds like a possible problem with the drive or an incompatibility issue with the blank discs. possibly a bad batch of discs. Does happen from time to time.
I also drink Port and I'm not ashamed to say it!
